Neither, id rather buy a DS Lite or a PSP Slim, both sub £60 both with more and better game selection. PSP + PS3 store = PS1 games on the go and dirt cheap Duo cards

But, I have a 3DS. And no PS3.

 

 

Also, as the PSP is no longer getting firmware updates, there is a executable custom firmware [which disables itself at the next boot] which will allow for screen capture/video software, homebrew, emulators and straight up .iso/.cso piracy legit backups.

 

 

You can also patch the .iso/.cso to change languages. [Which is awesome for the Japan only games.]

 

 

DSLite also have homebrew functionality.

 

 

 

3DS doesn't. And if you try there's a chance Ninty will deliberately brick it. [Not sure on Vita, I think it's the same as the PSP.]

GF has both, I wouldn't personally buy either, but on the spec of the kit and the games that are out/coming soon I would choose the PSVita, purely as it has titles like LittleBigPanet, Uncharted... and a new Katamari game
