Software bought from Ebay

Just been presented with some MFL software (Zeitgeist 2) purchased from Ebay, software is legit with license agreement, do I need to worry? I have told member of staff to use our regular vendors in future.

I take it the software is second hand, what does the licence say about permitted transfer? If allowed have all the steps and paperwork required been taken?

Good point, no mention in the agreement about permitted transfer.

I'm always wary of buying PC software second-hand.

 

They usually [sometimes] have single-use activation codes. [Which have been used.]

Thanks for the comments, I've made up my mind now..........we will only entertain software bought from legit sources.

I like it when a teacher appears with a CD that has obviously just been torn off the back of a cereal packet and they expect you to install it onto 'all the machines in the school'!

Or the generic "I got this software, install it everywhere."

 

While being given no disk, not being told where it is and no idea on licencing [or useage policies]...

 

 

End-users... You gotta love 'em.
