  1. Getting a bit off topic now guys
  2. There was a very good program on BBC the other day that covers it in a friendly format. BBC iPlayer - Bang Goes the Theory: Series 6: Episode 5
  3. avgnt.exe avguard.exe avmmailc.exe avshadow.exe avwebgrd.exe We also have a mix of Version 11 and 2012 How did you work out it was avira causing an issue?
  4. If that is why your computers are not sleeping then you need to talk to Avira. (Avira does not stop ours from sleeping)
  5. I take it the software is second hand, what does the licence say about permitted transfer? If allowed have all the steps and paperwork required been taken?
  6. I played around with this but how have you got it to respawn once exited?
  7. What program are they printing from?
  8. Anyone know how to do this on Exchange 2010 SP1? Thanks
  9. Oh, and don't forget to add some restrictions on who can print (did this via AD Groups)
  10. Papercut just adds authentication to AirPrint when using a CUPS print queue. On a Mac print server it also shares the printers giving the correct information via mDNS/Bonjore/zeroconf for it to appear on a iOS device. I have set up for limited testing purposes (in preparation for the web app papercut has to support iPhone and iPod Touch) a number of printer queues on a Linux server. I then made them show up on iOS devices using avahi and some XML. Once everything is working I installed papercut as a secondary server on the Linux box. Make sure the URI for the devices now start with papercut: before the normal URI (forgot to do this first and was wondering why it was not working!). After doing a test print you need to make the guest user an unauthenticated user in the PaperCut web interface.
  11. We had some HP laptops with the same button this year. Option was in the BIOS (however on one or two the button still worked until I re-enabled it and disable it in the BIOS ... odd).
