Isn't parking like that illegal anyway?

As for the article:

Wetwang, East Yorkshire

Got to visit there and grab a photo of that town sign! :D

Despite the fact that she parked awfully, she in no way deserves the hate calls she has been getting.

Its more the fact she threatened to lie to the police about getting assaulted in order to get her own way and in the process ruin someones life and waste police time.

She was in the wrong at the end of the day. She parked in the middle of a main road, just because she wanted to drop something off.

Unfortunately this is society today - very selfish!

Years ago, in my biking days, Back Street Heroes magazine used to run a competition each year called 'The Landmarks Tour' where you had to visit a certain number of sites out of a given list, in return for sendign them your snaps of you and your bike in each location you would receive a very nice metal badge. Each year would have a differnt theme, and one year (about 96 IIRC) it was silly named places. I went to...

Idle Working Mens Club (Leeds)

Vulcan Village

Pidley

...and several others that the years have removed from my brain. I still have the badges on my denim cut-off which I'll probably pass onto my kids :)

I'll have to take a picture of the badges to show you as they were things of beauty.

My brother had a number of those ... and his mate was proud to have done a road trip in the states, going 1600 miles out of the way just to get a picture of him at 2 different places, Bald Knob and Spread Eagle.

Lets also not forget the Man City Fans for their wish to remember Colin Bell (City legend) by naming one of the stands at the end of the pitch after him when they moved to the City of Manchester stadium Edited by Mcshammer_dj

The woods around Clacket Lane Services are another one for those with grubby minds:o - Clacket Lane Services - Google Maps

I'm sure I read somewhere that up to a week before opening Clacket Lane Services were called Titsey Services - can't imagine why they changed it... :)*
