scotyboy56 Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I have a Dell Latitude E5410 that i am trying to rebuild for a primary school that i work at. However it is saying that i need to type the offline build key and it is always greyed out. I go to diagnostics and it says that the network cards arent installe!! However i have put both of them (which i got from the dell website!!!) into the build package. What am i doing wrong or what is happening :'( PLEASE help
sparkeh Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 How are you building, PXE, DVD? Have you remembered to regenerate the build media and replace the file for the pxe build so that the new drivers are included?
scotyboy56 Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Building by PXE Yes i have as i created a brand new build package for this computer.
scotyboy56 Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 It also says that the build server is unreachable as when i tried rebuilding it last week i also rebuilded a latidude d520 at the same time so its not as if the build proccess isnt working
rad Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 sorry, I replied in other post. I would generate a new DVD/USB or you could build to XP and then Smartclient across.
SC92 Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 We get this all the time. Most likely cause is a wrong/corrupt network driver. Whenever this happens we just create a USB build stick and build it that way.
