faza Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Hi All, Just a quick question does anyone use Flip Book Software. I would want to convert PDF and office application to a Flip Book file. If anyone uses a product at the minute could you please let me know. There are loads out there and would like some views. Faza
daz191 Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I recently used this one, Software to create attractive online flash page flipping magazine from PDF, PPT, WORD, Image and more... to make this flip book for our school website, History of Mayfield Out of all the free ones I tried, this one worked the best.
unixman_again Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) We use this one FlippingBook At £250 we think it was very good value for money. Issuu - You Publish isn't a bad free solution if you don't want to host the flipping books yourself. We use both although I don't think we've had any hits from issuu Edited December 13, 2012 by unixman_again fixed duff url
timbo343 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 We use one called megazine MegaZine3 Flexible Pageflip Framework - MegaZine3 1
SneakyBeaky Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I bought FlipPDF from Flipbuilder.com having tried it as a giveawayoftheday. I was impressed by the variety of templates plus free updates for life.
pcstru Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Assuming people are using this to jazz up PDF display on web sites, how does flipbook comply with DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) requirements? Are flipbook documents easily accessible to screen readers or are they like PDF files, highly variable with many not providing any access to visually impaired visitors?
PaulSomer Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I used the free version of fliphtml5 for the school website but unfortunately had to stop using it. It creates very nice flipbooks which you can link to from your website. Only problem is - it has a facility to share on facebook and social media: a big security problem if your flipbook contains pictures of the pupils. I'm currently looking for a flipbook creator where it's possible to disable sharing.
n1ll3r Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I can recommend Paperturn that I'm more than satisfied with. Easy customization, good view, and no advertisements.
