Yeah i deduced that too, was hoping there might be another shortcut or something to try out but because the air has pretty much most of the components integrated it would just be to replace the board.... I will inform the teacher.

Just wanted to make a quick post to say how impressed I have been with Millgate. Just had an iPhone screen repaired. Turnaround was very quick and the repair is top notch. They even put on a screen protector and those of you with iPhones will know how much of a pain in the backside that is! Many thanks to Luke Jones. :-)
