wordpress embc ohisp

Hi

 

I have posted this in (general) web development so apologies for cross posting but it should probably have just gone in here...

 

We installed Wordpress via Fantastico on the cpanel and all of the links seem to be pointing to the root not the ohisp address and therefore not working. As we wanted the site to be viweable by the Head teacher before it went live we are a bit stuck. What's the next step please anyone. I have emailed servicedesk...

Have you tried installing Wordpress manually, and not using Fantastico?

I haven't tried that, no, but I think Synetrix will do that. At the end of Friday they said they would install it so I will see tomorrow. On their own admission this is relatively new to them (cpanel/Wordpress) so I am building the site on our server space as well and may just get them to point the A records to that until they are further down the road. I've never come across ohisp before and there's next to nothing when you Google it, so hopefully, when it's all sorted this can be a roadmap for the next school. I can't imagine there won't be other schools using Wordpress with them - so all info should help. Thanks!
