It is, last time it was being advertised internally at Cheshire so the official job title was "Network Support Officer" as "Assistant Network Manager" Is not a recognised internal job title, I don't know why that is as I don't have anything to do with the admin department :p

So the job title this time around is "Assistant Network Manager", I would have edited and bumped the old post but apparently I wasn't allowed to edit it? No idea why that would be but I wasn't given the option when I checked the post.

Nope, all round we didn't get much interest, no interest from Cheshire at all, surprising given the state of their shared services.

I believe this is open to all applicants, internal and external, given that there was 0 internal interest last time around I cant imagine that will have changed, the difference is that to advertise specifically inside Cheshire on their recruitment system it has to have a specific job title, this isn't being advertise through that system unlike the last time.

I'm definately going to put myself forward for this one. Had that sinking feeling of losing out to internal applicants on a lot of occasions in the past so it can be very off putting.

I Live in Cheshire so it would be perfect for me and would save the commute to Manchester.

Hi,

I applied for the previous post as an external candidate, is it necessary for me to re-apply for this position, or will you be also considering applications from the previous advert?

Thanks,

Matthew Millar
