Corrupt memory stick

Our delightful Spanish teacher has got a corrupt memory stick! Does anyone know of any free/shareware software? Tried badcopy pro but de nada!

Photorec from PhotoRec - CGSecurity is what I use for "It's cheaper for them to redo it than pay for recovery" data.

tried plugging it into a linux box? the number of times i have tried to get stuff of corrupted memory sticks on windows and failed and then plugged it into linux and most of the time been able to drag and drog all the files off it

Thanks for the suggestion of Recuva. I used it on a laptop with a corrupted windows installation and it worked really well, our delightful German teacher now thinks I'm a magician!
