Installed a2c a few weeks ago all appeared ok, got connections with little or no probs - amazing! However, the pc over this past week has started to complain....dropping off network, user can't open certain docs PDFs/excel...done all the usual basics, thought we had resolved it with a dodgy cable but noooo....anyone else experiencing similar?

Found out today you cannot restore comment banks. You'd have to restore entire SIMS DB and roll back!

Profiles list entry has not collected specific classes, although the appropriate links appear in the Report Outline and the classes appear in the right hand box in session manager. Points towards Course Manager/timetable issue, Capita just keeping asking the links are there and they are.......the class and pupils are missing in the list entry.

I'm setting up our HomePage and have managed to lose Missing Register Notification panel for all staff (like to do things in style) I can see it in my Group but not when logged on as them on the Homepage or in the Config section. Surely I can't be the only person to have done this, please say 'no'! Cheers Carol

I had similar issue....altered the timeout to values ="1500" in the Program Files...\SIMS...\Discover Services...Discover.Warehouse.Service.exe.config - this worked for me! Carol

Hi Yes uniformity downgrading.....haven't yet gone all in Win7 - need lots of prep on this as have hundreds of clients currently XP... yep SATA controller. When booting from XP it can't find the SATA driver, there's an option to install 3rd party drivers so if I had it I could install at this point. Hi I've been going round in circles looking for auu audio bus for the GIGABYTE GA-73PVM-S2 m/board - I've downloaded from their site but still no joy....now can't seem to get a download without having to install fixit drivers etc....anyone experienced this? Yes, but the faculty are more or less sold on Sanako, Sony was more of a costing exercise.

Can't disagree with you on the cost front, Sony about 5-6k cheaper. All I can say is that we've the antiquated Tanberg sys about 12yrs old now -we've had our money's worth but need to come into the 21st century. Thanks for your response.
