If we are running Windows XP Service Pack 3 -- when does updates / support end for this ? I've read April 2014 but then some say 24 months after the last service pack. Thanks Karl

Michael Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 April 2014 is fast approaching, so if you have a big site, it's well worth making the necessary steps to upgrade to Windows 7 now. Another consideration is the fact we have no idea what school budgets will be like in the next 12-24 months. I think poor is an understatement!

rdokoye Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 2014 is still a long time, so upgrading to the latest windows OS needn't be much of a concern for you right now. Windows Vista didn't perform as well as projected, which is why it's taken so long to phase windows XP out.
