Due to my wife getting a new job and us not needing 2 cars I have for sale my black vauxhall astra SXI It is taxed until the end of January 2012 and MOT'd until the end of March 2012. It also has its manufacturers warranty until march 2012

 

 

Very good car inside and out and has been well looked after. Heres the spec.

 

 

1.6 SXI

23,000 miles

3 Door Hatchback

Alloy Wheels

Sports suspension

Heated mirrors

Body Coloured Bumpers

Sports Seats (Front)

Electric Windows

Electric Mirrors

Air Con

CD Player

Black interior and roof liner

On board computer

Sporty Interior

Sports Pedals.

 

The car has never been in an accident and has never had finance on it. I am located in Halesowen, Birmingham. Only 5 minutes from J3 of the M5 Any questions please ask.

Dont know, havnt asked any but I cant see it being anywhere near what I'd be prepared to let it go for. Shame really as its just sitting on my drive at the minute and only gets used once a week.

What you want for it and what its worth arent necessarily the same thing :p

 

I just got rid of a 59 plate new shape Megane with 28k miles on it for £5800.....

Yeh i know the two are probably poles apart. Im just looking at the examples on autotrader which are all priced at around the £7k figure.

Did you sell the Megane privately or through a company?

You will find that your car in particular may be fetching more on AutoTrader as it is the 3 door version and they are very rare you may notice. I am not so far away from you and I was looking for one a few months back. The Deisel one's are even more rare and that is the one in particular that i would purchase if it was me.

 

I am guessing yours is petrol?

trade in but having said that, the cash price i was going to get from the dealership i bought it was only £5700. Granted, they'll always knock price off the top so they can make some money but in honesty, for the hassle sometimes its better to take a hit and its done. As you say, yours is sat on a drive doing nothing so i suppose its either, get rid and have the cash in your pocket but a little less than you might want, or hold out for x period of time until you get what your after.

 

You've already dropped £500, you might wait another month then have to drop another £250, then another and drop another £250......you just dont know i suppose. A lot of it is down to circumstances and whether it matters to you its sat doing nothing on your drive than sat doing nothing in your bank account :p

 

Fingers crossed though you get the price your after :)

Yeh its petrol, I didnt realise the 3 doors hard to come by. I might have to re-think the price seeing as its a limited edition. lol.

 

They are hard to come by, but more so if you have the Exterior Pack and it is a deisel :) if you don't have these 2 then it's not as limited! ;-)

I sold my Vauxhall Corsa 58 Plater which had very low mileage was petrol but had the Exteriour Pack on and I got 8k for it no problem.
