Lee_K_81 Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Hi, I've been looking at Sharepoint, i've managed to set it up correctly (i think) and insert some exchange webparts in the "mysite" part. However, i keep having to enter my exchange username and password. Looked at single sign on but that seems more for writing your own webparts. Any ideas?
ICTNUT Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 out of the box sharepoint should be fully Active Directory (AD) and network aware and thus auth any user that goes to the site. As far as t he exchange intergration there is some config stuff you need to do. Take a look at: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/windowsserver/sharepoint/v2/reskit/c4161881x.mspx
john Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 With the Exchange Webparts built into SPS 2007 you have to code in the server and mailbox, so each user has to program them and then it works automatically, or does for me. Not very useful though as I want them to take wildcards so I can have an overview screen with E-learning, Email and Eportal all auto open and signed in.
