wil0 Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 i found this a little amusing, especially when their site is hosted on RMs servers. http://www.thegrid.org.uk
6Foot2 Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 They seem to have fixed it now...until the next time?

cooper Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 I would like to know the story behind it. Looks like someone isnt very happy.
wil0 Posted May 1, 2007 Author Posted May 1, 2007 im tempted to ask if the cat really did eat their dataz.
6Foot2 Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 HGfl are updating schools taking their feed here: RM Web Hosting - Current Issue [Available from within HGfL schools only] Meanwhile RM are investigating. It would appear that the attack was directed at The Grid homepage only and no other data was compromised. How true that is will become evident in due course.
Geoff Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 The simplicity of the attack suggests it's Just a script kiddie defacement. I'd guess they even used some off the shelf tools to do it. Which would mean there was a well known exploit kicking about in a script or CGI on the server.
