thought you might be interested in this - my friend works at a Vets and discovered that Cats after all do have thumbs!!!

MUTANT cats have thumbs. Important distinction, though obviously this is the end of humanity.

One of my cats has 1 extra digit on each paw, and it makes him look like he has big thumbs.

It's the POLYDACTYL (from the Greek – POLY = many, + DAKTULOS = fingers) gene he inherited from his mother who also had it.
