A2 and A3 Colour Printing in Art Dept - Recommendations

Our Art Dept have real problems in finding a reliable printer/printing method for large documents of A2 and A3 size. The solution they currently have was purchased by a member of staff who has now left and is currently in a right state (basically an epson injet A2 and A3 printer with an ink feed system attached) and is not supported or maintained properly or by a specialist company.

 

What are other schools using that is reliable and value for money - we would ideally like to go down the route of leasing through a managed service so when things get knackered, we can get things up and running again quickly and at no extra cost.

 

Most of what they are printing is for coursework and occasionally exhibitions.

I would recommend you speak to United Carlton, they provide our solution in the NHS but they do a lot of local authority stuff including schools in the Northern Lincolnshire area, they are based in the North East area (Gateshead I think), the website is not great but have a chat with them.
