Unable to link twitter to facebook

Am i just being thick here - i'm following this guide here On linking the school twitter account to the school facebook account.

 

We don't have the option to Connect to Facebook as step 3 suggests

 

Any ideas?

Is it because your page doesn't have an account attached to it? My bands page won't let me do it either because it doesn't have an account attached with it, when i try to do it it says do you wish to continue logged in as "My Name" which no i don't i want to continue as the band

Its twitter which is not allowing me to connect - there is simply no option.

Are you trying to push the Tweets to a Facebook Fan Page - not Profile?

 

I was trying to do this a few weeks ago. It seems it isn't possible to push Tweets to a Fan Page, only a users Facebook account so Tweets would appear in that users Status feed. Unfortunately that is no good for us, meaning I will need to work on an API solution (Joy!).

Yes I was - the way i have found to do it now is create a normal user account - we have done - schoolname admin (as facebooks auto recognistion allowed this) then as that user you create the fan page - this way you can sync the two together.
