SYNACK Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Weird, never had that happen but I imagine that it would be to do with the system tray application crashing/faulting. I would be suspecting your memory and running memtest86+ on it overnight for a bunch of itterations to check it there are a few weak sectors there.
Oaktech Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 my home laptop which runs vista home premium regularly has the whole task bar freeze on me which means the clock, battery, wireless activity etc. all also cease to update, and this has made me late, and has also lost me work as the battery has keeled over mid document!
