If I set up my switch for a VLAN and then attach a cheap wireless access point to it or a mini non managed hub will this still work? My setup is I have a Netgear switch which is attached to a smoothwall box whcih gives out DHCP to clients in VLAN 55.. the uplink goes to another switch, do both ends need to be managed?
