Youtube only loading correctly as HTTPS site in IE8

I am not sure if anyone can help with this problem.

 

On a CC3 network in IE8 when a teacher goes to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself then get a very poorly formatted page. Almost as if it is designed for a mobile browser. It also appears like this in IE6 on the server (which also has a message saying its an unsupported browser).

 

However when I visit https://www.youtube.com/ everything appears perfectly normal and how youtube should appear.

 

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself also appears perfectly normal for administrators, so it seems to be an IE setting for teacher users causing this.

 

I have tried enabling "Do Not Save Encrypted Pages To Disk" as this solved an problem I was having with Hotmail, but this has not solved the Youtube problem.

 

Has anyone got any advice please as to what this problem might be?
