featured_spectre Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I have placed £10 bets down on each time winning tomorrow, I will be in the money in any outcome (ranging from £43 back from £40 down, to £58 back from £40 down)

Haptic Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Bring on 6am, I'm even taking a weekend off playing so I can enjoy this with a pint of Brains SA! My English half is worrying though; France are well overdue a performance and as we all know if they do perform the world better watch out (not sure if anyone caught the very funny France/ NZ comparison on Scrum V a couple of weeks back?), Mark
sonofsanta Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Some very good games lined up in these quarters... SA v Aus should be a cracker as well. I do fancy England over France, as iffy as our play has been the French have been even more off colour. We'll fall over in the semis though As for Wales Ireland... could go either way. I'll find out when I wake up I guess, cos no way will my missus let me wake her up that early for game that's not even England!
featured_spectre Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Is that includes your original stake they are rubbish odd. Of course they are rubbish odds - they are pretty much even this year!
Haptic Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Gotta be Ireland and England for the win hasn't it!? Chris
Vegas Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Depends which France side turn up but we should beat them, can't see Wales getting past Ireland.............famous last words
RabbieBurns Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 the main rugby world cup thread wasnt good enough? ;p I really hope england lose, but have put them on my coupon so i guess i want them to win to make me money... also have ireland, nz and aus... 4pm kick off.. ahh makes a nice change
featured_spectre Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Semi final ticket is as follows...England v Wales, aus v NZ
RabbieBurns Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 All i can say is.. Viva la France :) Cheerio england.. great first half from france.
pooley Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 Well done Wales, another week of nervous counting down by me. Wales to beat the froggies next week.
garethEds Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Well done Wales, another week of nervous counting down by me. Wales to beat the froggies next week. I've stayed quiet regarding Wales this year - especially when it comes to taunting England fans but having just got back from the rugby club and watching both games I can hold back no longer. Well done Wales. England - HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Taxi.......... Bye....... Book the coach. Will Wales beat France? I think so. If NZ went out after (probably beating the Argentinians) against SZ or Aus then Wales could take the cup. Gareth
sonofsanta Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Well that was pretty shambolic wasn't it? For all the talk of "England just need to turn up to win", France were the only team actually playing rugby on the pitch. God knows what was going on with the English, but they couldn't even pass correctly, which to me is a fairly important facet of a team ball game. They never really got going, and they didn't deserve to go through. Wales v NZ final now then?

The English half of me is not happy... but the Welsh half of me (which is the rugby supporting half much to the disgust of my immediate family) is over the moon!
mthomas08 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 It felt like I was watching football, they seem to care more about their off pitch lives then their on pitch performances.
Haptic Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Gotta be Ireland and England for the win hasn't it!? Chris ......Yeah good job I didn't bet! ha ha
HaleStorm Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 An Englishman, Irishman and Scotsman walk into a bar......... TO WATCH WALES PLAY IN THE SEMIS!
