Potentially a very short thread if the answer is "Yes" or "No", but are people the only things on the planet which mix ingredients to make their food?

A very interesting question - I googled it but could find no evidence that any animal does mix ingredients for food

Neither could I, but I could also find nothing which says they don't, or that people are the only ones which do!

I've seen wild monkeys in India mixing the various ingredients of leftover thalis left outside but they were probably copying what they had seen us humans doing with the foods. They didn't like the chilli pickles! Edited September 28, 2011 by tech_guy

In Ghana I saw a Guinea Baboon mixing a variety of leaves and fruit as part of its meal. I would take from that, that SOME do.
