I know that after GTA3 was out, I walked through a quiet car park one evening on my way to the pub and found myself scanning for nice cars to take, and too much Eve (and not enough sleep) has left me thinking I can move freely along a three-dimensional axis, gravity be damned. But I've certainly never failed to tell the real world from the flashy lights of my PC games.

Don't play GTA for 5 hours then go out and imagine robbing cars or you might as well do it! Don't play Doom then walk down dark alleys imagining blowing the heads off vicious space monsters, or you might as well actually do it! Cease and desist with your imagination, take everything literally and don't dare to question the bounds of reality, or else you'll be damned to hell! Of course I'm joking. I often walk around after having played CoD and pick out what would be awesome sniper spots in the real world. I do not, however, climb up to those spots, pull out a sniper rifle and start shooting people. That would be crazy. Personally I think the real danger is reading too many red top papers, that will make you want to go out on a murderous rampage...

Not everyone can acquire a rocket launcher to copy Quake but anyone can get a car to copy Forza 3... Now back to making seating plans so kids arrive in groups of 4, sit in a line and disappear. sted Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 and before video games that made me want to murder the terminally stupid it was tv/films/books id suggest that having and acting on thoughts are 2 separate things and while i might daydream about mowing down certain people in a warthog im not going to do it (well at least not untill i can afford one lol). Infact id say its stress relieving as surely its better for me to mow down sprites in gta than drive my car through the centre of leeds doing the same?

There hasn't been a new GTA game in what, 4 years? And there has never been a submarine mission in any of them? But something bad happened so it must somehow be blamed on computer games, and the only game the Daily Mail can ever remember the name of is Grand Theft Auto, so it must have been its fault again. Agreed that driving games are the most dangerous. Reminds me of Adam & Joe complaining about driving arcade games in service stations, back in t'day.

I then like to jump into the sea to chase squids, so i can punch them and steal their ink sacs to use to dye wool i acquire by punching sheep... Yes, games control me.
