Activstudio and Laser Pointer brings up Activ vote

Hello,

 

I have a Kenington Laser pointer, which when pressing the button to get the red laser bring ups the Activote Session to confirm a sesson.

 

Any ideas how I disable this?

Very strange! - Never heard of this before!

 

Guess we would need to know the actual board type (firmware version would tell us this - click on the "Promethean icon" in the system tray and choose "About" - the firmware version would be listed in here), and Promethean software / software version (i.e ActivInspire v1.5xxxxx) and driver version you have installed.

 

Might be worth updating all of these (Promethean Planet has all the latest versions) if not on the latest.

 

One other thing, do you have an ActivHub connected (it will either look like one of the voting devices with a USB cable connected, or a USB pen drive)?

I will go and get the details shortly for the board.

 

No USB drives attached.

 

We have no activHubs connected.

Attached is the details of the firmware of the board etc.

 

It also does the same on a PC not attached to a board.

Oh and its ActivStudio version 3.7.19

 

It looks like the laser pen is on 2.4GHz band, and the button to turn on the laser, in Windows is the refresh button.
