HI

Due to our HP P3005's dying we're looking to buy a cheap refurb HP 2420 or similar for hopefully less than £100 (as new comp toner will be another £40-£50ish) until we get our managed print solution sorted. Does anyone know any companies which do these? (not ebay)

So far I've found Chiltern IT - HP 2420n for £103.95p and ICT-Direct

thanks

The only thing to watch out for on the 2400 series of printers, is the gearing can develop a clunking noise and also the paper feeds in ours went which meant we had to use tray 1 instead of tray 2 as the paper feed path was just jamming up every other page. Apart from that though, they were fast and cheap little printers. You can get the parts relatively easy and cheaply but do to the way our place works, we didn't replace anything on them. Grrr!!
