However, if you are looking into this seriously, I can arrange a "try before you buy" trial for up to 3 months. It's a new offer we can get through HP. The trial does cost £x per month though, depending on what option you go for, because some people have used it just to do certain jobs which isn't what HP want, surprisingly Anyway, if you want more info, just let me know Ta Luke

witch Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Saw these at the Universities my daughter was looking at - they are called prototypers there and they make fascinating things. They are seriously exciting kit - fascinating to see them making something with interlinking cogs that you couldnt make by putting pieces together.

john Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 I've had used one before, well not a HP one as such, it used HP 10 Print heads and a HP engine. It was a Z-Corp model and was very clever stuff and an art to watch, this is similar to it - ZPrinter® 150 what I found though was running costs were quite high and it was time consuming to do stuff with it but a good idea I guess if you have that kind of money.
