A case for one of these? just realised other day when i had the air con engineer out that somebody walking past the air con unit and easily turn the condenser off! Meaning server room meltdown?

Any ideas?

Rotary isolator. They can be padlocked.

Oh, I re-read the question a few times and finally got your meaning... I doubt there is a case made to cover it. Design & Tech project, or as I suggest above, a padlock.

Padlock works but ensure your H&S and Fire people know that you have done it and keep the keys handy as they are designed to be outside the building for quick shut-off in the event of a fire as you don't want the AC wafting air about should your place turn into an inferno (they are also often used on electric lighting system and many other heavy duty kit outside which may feed inside / via the insides), we were slapped on the wrist when I had them padlocked at a business (for the very same reason as you have suggested) by the Fire Inspector as they shouldn't be locked in the ON position only the OFF one.

Seek the advice, tbh if they needed to kill power quickly they have bolt cutters job done but if there coming out ask the question they may say fine I think we have a very harsh one round here tbh

yeah we have them coming around after the building work has been done - as some of it is addressing fire safety concerns
