PrePaid Visa/Debit Card

Anyone know any prepaid visa cards that can be used with paypal?

Im searching now and came across some but worried some might be a little 'dodgey'

Majority of standard prepaid cards (mastercard/visa etc) can be used with paypal, just as normal you're supposed to register an address to verify/lift restrictions.

Have you any reccomendations on which prepaid to use? Half the website look dodgey for these cards from what i've seen..

 

Or, is there an alternative method to sending a one off payment ? I know of western union but they charge a nasty % fee, so i was thinking a prepaid card might be best.

3V can be used with PayPal, but a standard credit card would be a lot less hassle while still offering protection online. I have used 3V in the past and they are definitely not dodgy.

Also, the majority of pre-paid credit cards do not actually offer you any protection under the law..

 

Prepay cards are special plastic you load up before you spend and anyone can get one as no credit check is needed. Normally these don't get Section 75 protection, as there's no credit, but one specific card does includes similar protection. The CashPlus* prepaid card's provider has confirmed it provides protection similar to section 75 although this is NOT legal protection.

People like mastercard/visa do their own ones direct from them. As nowadays do most mobile companies (orange etc)

If it's a one-off payment, it depends on how much you'll get charged by western, as normally you pay £5~ for a prepaid card. Just make sure you get one that's not got monthly fees etc, as some do. And preferably a free to top-up

O2 offer a card as well which I got, no charges you get £10 credit for £10 in and no monthly. O2 Money - O2

Western Union... It would be a foolish ebay trader that accepted payment!

Bring on the internet access license to prevent that and 419 scammers having success
