dadamsonnsg Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Hi there First post, so I hope it's not an intrusion! We're trying to build Macromedia Studio Suite 8 to distribute across our Mac network. Anyway, when I build the package using PackageManager, it gives us lots of errors relating to world-writable files that I just can't seem to get around. Can anyone help? I'll probably have loads more questions as the weeks go on as we're just getting used to ARD and PackageManager.

dadamsonnsg Posted August 8, 2011 Author Posted August 8, 2011 Sadly, I don't! For reasons that escape me, we are using Macromedia Studio Suite 8 with no plans to upgrade :S I'm guessing, if it is PPC only, that it's using Rosetta to execute.
Arthur Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Apple's PackageMaker has a history of being buggy and difficult to use. I would try IceBerg instead and see if you have the same issues.
