Stuart_C Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I'm currently doing some cover work at a site and they have RAnger installed, having never used the thing and finding a ,achine without the client installed it leads me to the slightly noobish question of... How do I go about installing the client?
mrwobbly Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 If I remember correctly Logon with the username: rangerinstall. You will have to find out the password for that account or change it before you logon. Then the ranger client will install and log off.
jamesfed Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Thats the one login with rangerinstall - it will launch an application on load and it should automaticly blast into the install (if not select it from the drop down menu there). Simlary rangerremove will do the opposite

Sam_Brown Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Just ditto what the other two said. RangerInstall for... installation funnily enough. ReangerRemove for... uninstalling. There is a third one called "rangersetup" as well which gives you a more comprehensive list of options and whatnot which is the one I'd recommend.
