Honda Civic 1.6 i-VTEC Executive Suggestions please

Looking for an executive honda civic, something like below :

 

2002 HONDA CIVIC 1590 cc 1.6 i-VTEC SE EXECUTIVE{FSH}

 

I have a budget of £1500

 

After 12 months MOT and at least 6 or 12 months tax, I appreciate the above link only has tax till august hence why I was looking at it as was thinking I would be able to barter a bit ref the tax not being on the car for much longer so either could lower the price by a bit or get them to put tax for a year on it ??

 

Not being great ref mechanics etc not sure what I need to look out for so was wondering if anyone else could post some links for ones that may be better ie have more mod cons or better milage etc etc

I think its gonna be very hard to get a decent model of the Civic for that price even if they are going on 10years old. Check out ebay motors (or flea bay) as there maybe some finds on there for cheaper
