Its quite easy to find a company that will sell you a bulb at a reasonable price :D

Its slightly harder to get one who WILL keep a delivery deadline :)

And then you get into the "how do they deal with you when a failure occurs within the guarantee period" :(

If anyone has had a good experience, in this regards, I'd be interested in knowing the company name :)

regards

If you know the exact part number and feel confident in ordering from america you can get them down to half the price of the european market for most models.

I know they have been mentioned before, but Thomas Computer Supplies in Leyland are pretty good. If you are honest enough to tell them the best price (for real!) that you have found, they will either beat it or at worst, match it if they can. Not just lamps but all hardware and toners too. :wink:Will send all over UK but mostly focus on Lancs.

We tend to buy from Dave at AV Lamps (trading name of Platinum AV).

Dave is very helpful and knowledgeable about the products that he sells.

His prices are very competitive and has in the past been able to source lamps for oddball bits of kit that have been left lying around the school.

So for me, he's been excellent.
