Zoom7000 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Since yesterday, I've been experiencing a slow Internet connection. Nothing new there I thought and got on the blower to Synetrix. However, I was surprised when I fired up IE7 by accident to find all the pages loading just fine. I tried FF again, same problem, very slow loading any pages. Tried IE7, perfect. So, I'm baffled. What could be causing FF to run slowly? Nothing has changed since my last successfull usage...
Geoff Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Your proxy does not support HTTP 1.1 and/or pipelining. Disable it in the about:config and see if that helps.
Zoom7000 Posted March 27, 2007 Author Posted March 27, 2007 Do you know what the exact name of the setting is that I should look for.
spc-rocket Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 network.http.proxy.pipelining Make it false which it should be by default network.http.proxy.version - this is probably set to 1.1
