Steven Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Hi All, Got to work this morning and one of the server had rebooted. Got a message saying 'memory/battery problems were detected' Press any key to continue. Did this and it was fine for around an hour came through to server room and it had blue screened, rebooted same message. Tried reseating memory and changed cmos battery etc. This is our main application server. Any ideas guys?
john Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Sounds like it could be the Battery Backed Write Cache kit on your RAID card perhaps?

john Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Clear the error, if its the BBWC you need to get a new BBWC. Have you thought, as I know your not that skilled in your Servers, of phoning India and speaking to Dell Support?
