edutech4schools Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 HTC sense has battery software that turns off certain things as battery drops. HTC Desire HD = Fantastic phone. I dont like the look and feel of the samsungs but probably work just fine. 1
zai0s Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 i've been quite the apple fan boy since the iphone first came out and have had every model including the iPhone 4 (lasted 12 months of my 18 month contract) but i have just got the new samsung galaxy s2 and can't believe i've been wasting my time with the iphone's for all those years. the s2 is incredible buy one! using my iphone4 as my work phone now and it just feels cheap and actually quite a brick in comparison!
zai0s Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 is that the one that turns off certain things as battery drops, like wifi switches off when it hits 20% etc? the s2 has this built in (or similar). very handy! pretty much everything turns off when i hit 15%
Linux_Nut Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Thinking from reading this that i may get the Desire S and keep the reliable BB for festivals / events where power may be an issue for several days. 2-3 Days between charges is acceptable (just) and that seems to be about average now considering what your running and if you trained the battery correctly as we all do being profesionals.
mb2k01 Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011 How do you manage to break the screen on the iphone 4, dropped from a multi story building on concrete or ran over by a juggernaught lorry or someit ? See, I had this kind of view on it too! It had survived a handful of small drops and come away completely unharmed - maybe it weakened the glass over time? The actual death drop came from having it in my shirt pocket, bending over and having it fall on a solid concrete floor - went to pick it up fully expecting it to me ok, but no such luck!
eastanglia Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 I love the new motorola atrix great looks and amazing functionality,
