techie08 Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Im having trouble getting Offline files working with Windows 7 Enterprise. Has anyone else had trouble with getting it to work? I use folder redirection for my docs etc but i would of thought if so automatically activate offiline files. Ive even set settings in a GPO for the laptop but it still doesn't work!!! Help!

techie08 Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 Yes please, could you tell the reg thing REG ADD "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CSC\Parameters" /v FormatDatabase /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f Restart the machine and offline files will then work.
plexer Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Interesting I've had trouble with offline files and never thought formatting the db would help only normally use that when staff have let others log on to their xp laptops and need to remove them. Ben

Ben Its stupid. I was trying to alter GPOs for at least a day, finally done this and it then starts to work. Its the same on all images i have created so not sure if its got something to do with sysprep.
