tonto Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Have you ever questioned the level of knowledge of suppport staff? You probably know far more than they do about CMIS.
Kained Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 that may be the case but they have one advantage they can put you on hold while they get the solution lol
ITWombat Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 As the pleas from SpecialAgent show, experienced MIS admin don't grow on trees. It's not unexpected that software companies get around this problem by taking the scripted call centre approcach to field all the RTFKB questions. This will allow the true analysts to deal with the real difficult issues. That said school ICT techs probably have the advanatge in being more knowledgeable about MIS issues than MIS support staff are on technical ICT issues.
GeorgeFaux Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Of course, but then once you get into the advanced reporting areas its pretty much do your own thing. Besides I get fed up of being told "it will be put on the development list".
