Single sign on for spiceworks

Planning on moving to spiceworks in new accademic year because of additional functionality however 1 feature it is missing SSO for the user portal has anyone managed to get this to work.

 

I have tried this but became unstuck with the PERL part .

 

I know i can disable the portal feature but LM want to have it so that users can just raise jobs whilst browsing web.

 

Any help would be muchly appreciated

It doesn't help your problem but I would go with the email integration, so staff just send an email & it gets automatically imported. It then uses an interface they are used to & you can then introduce the portal as and when.

+1 for the email option. Have never used the portal side of Spiceworks.
