There is a lot of corrosion or deposit on the one end so ill assume both are the same. Wild guess a transmission axle or similar with what looks like a slight reduction. wow that is rather geeky sounding lol
Hightower Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Is it a stool for a stool? Stand it up on end and then a stool can sit on the stool's stool legs. You can be wild and put a stool's stool on a stool's stool to seat a stool. Any more than that though and the stool is just gonna fall off and break.
pauljonze Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Definitely an axle of some type and it wouldn't have been a very big wheel - the two ends are exactly the same and look like they were once embedded into a material which has since rotted away, the tips look like they were beaten/hammered. Hang on it's not an ancient pizza box lid holder is it?
