Norphy Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Do you have the Google toolbar installed? iirc there was a bug in there somewhere which somehow broke the tabs.
6Foot2 Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Have you looked in Active Directory: User Configuration/Windows Settings/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Internet Explorer: Turn off tabbed browsing? This may be set to enabled. Dave.
Uraken Posted March 21, 2007 Author Posted March 21, 2007 yeah it was local policy, although nothing was set so i disabled it forced update bingo thanks for your help all.
bishopsgarthstockton Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 dont see any benefits in updating to IE7 yet. as they say if it aint broke, dont fix it
farmerste Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 i find IE7 to look and fell/use horrendous, especially as we have some children with vision problems. if i wanted mozilla i would have installed it , i didn't ask microsoft to make me a mozilla clone !
Geoff Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 You can make Firefox look like IE6 though. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3984/
