rpettit Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 We are looking for a piece of software that will run on a networked school machine that will allow us to send out a command to automatically log all machines of a certain name or location with a certain account. For example, at times we need to login as administrator on all machines in a ICT room. Is there a way to run an automated process to do this instead of having to go round each individual machine and logging it in. Many thanks

IKWeb Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Although its memory hungry, Italc will do this. As will most Classroom management application. Oh and ITalc is also free.

Gibbo Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 I use a program called rclogon Just had a go at that, works well! You may need to download comdlg32.ocx though, as it complained it was missing on my machine. Missing Comdlg32.ocx error while running an application?
zag Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Yes you can use Italc to do this easily, its free. Just select all the machines and click logon then type in the username and password. In the domain field just type "local machine" and it should work.
sted Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 i just create a quick user say a with no password add whatever i need to do to a logon script and just go round in circles logging on pressing enter etc then disable the account when done
