RM Learning Platform New Look and Feel

Hi All,

 

What do people think of the upgraded look and feel?

 

I think it looks a whole lot moderner and appears to be far easier to use.

It's meant to load faster, something to do with the way that pages are loaded now and only parts of the page refresh when you update something rather than reloading the whole page. They've also added a nice pink theme!

Certainly does load much faster. Fixed pages and fixed width and is far nicer looking! The VLE has been considerably improved as well evidently.

Had this demo'd a few weeks ago at a training session and it does seem a vast improvement over the old version..

 

Would be interested to hear the feedback from other schools on it..

Love the new look, much cleaner! I think the new themes from quite childish to very sleek clean is great.

 

The important thing for us is less clicks, even if it has made our entire navigation system somewhat outmoded.

Definetly a big improvement from our end.

 

True, some of our pages have needed adjustment but this is to make sure they now sit in the correct resolution to operate correctly for everyone as it has a fixed width.

 

A very good job all round and a worthy LP!

Still not worth the money and still has major usability issues regarding file uploads. Still miles behind the competition in terms of intuitive design and usability. Moodle 2.0 is the way forward - why are schools still paying RM for this janky platform?
