Computer Glasses

My line manager has recently purchased a pair of Gunnar optik glasses for computer use. I am just wondering if anyone else has invested in pair of Gaming/ VDU glasses and if so I would be interested to know your thoughts.

 

I am due an eye test soon. Its not so much ,can I get the school to contribute towards the test, its more do the glasses make a difference or are they a git of a gimmick?

 

Also if anyone has any others apart from Gunnars I would also be interested to know your thoughts.

I have a coating on my lenses from Specsavers which is designed to reduce screen glare and make them better for using with computers, if I wear my spare pair which hasn't got it I can tell I am on the spares.

I have a set of Polarised prescription sun glasses which I use for anti-glare and migraine prevention when on the computer and as sun glasses for outside....I looked at gunnars and could never justify the cost
