gibbo_ap Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 we are finally installing 2010 at the moment but need some help guides. whats different etc. to save me time i dont suppose anyone has any they would share???
Arthur Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Microsoft have some really good guides... http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-help/office-2010-migration-guides-HA101982272.aspx 2
MK-2 Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Learn where menu and toolbar commands are in Office 2010 and related products - Outlook - Office.com we are doing the same in summer and will deploy the above guides out. they show you the office 2003 interface, the user clicks on the command they would like (powerpoint>slideshow>start) and it will then flip to office 2010 and show you where that command is on 2010. should make it a bit easier when finding certain commands
mthomas08 Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Thanks for that Arthur, I have had a look at those and will pass the links around.
gibbo_ap Posted May 24, 2011 Author Report Posted May 24, 2011 Microsoft have some really good guides... Office 2010 Migration Guides - Excel - Office.com lol just found thoes
Gibbo Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 I found these when we deployed 2007: http://itcd.hq.nasa.gov/documents/MSOffice2007RefGuide.pdf http://itcd.hq.nasa.gov/documents/MSOffice2007RefGuide.pdf If it's good enough for NASA it'll do for us!
gshaw Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 There's also the very nifty Microsoft interactive flash widgets that let you click a button on a 2003 toolbar \ menu then shows you where it is in 2007. Will be slightly out for 2010 but not by much...
