Hi,

We have Office 2007, using Exchange 2007. Some of our laptop users have Cached Mode for Exchange turned on. On a couple of these laptops (and only a couple) when the user closes the Outlook window, it doesn't actually stop the Outlook process. This means that the user cannot re-open Outlook until they log off and then log back on.

If we turn off Cached Mode for Exchange, Outlook closes properly and can be re-opened.

We have tried deleting the OST file and letting Outlook re-create it, but it does the same. New user profiles have no difference either.

We are using Office 2007 with Service Pack 2.

Any suggestions welcome.

steve21, you my man are a saviour.

All working, and one happy customer.

For info: it is either the Adobe PDFM add-in, or the Outlook Mobility Add-in which stops it closing. Either way, both are administrator add-ins and can only be disabled when logged on with a user with appropriate rights.

Not sure which of the two it is, didn't get enough time to test it. I have a sneaking suspicion it might be the Adobe one though.
