iMash Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Hi Guys/Gals, I'm desperately trying to find a program to do what I want before I end up going down the route of writing one myself. We have a print server that hosts the print queues for all of our labs. (the largest one with 70 Computers in). The print queues can get quite long at some points, especially if large PDFs are being printed. I have a computer and a display above the printers and I would like to show a moderately intuitive live view of the current queue (preferably with a "Now Printing", "Estimated time to wait) etc, so that the students can stop telling us their job isn't printing while its queuing. We have papercut installed (latest version). Does anyone know of a program that will do this? Either via web page or an application that can run on the machine driving the display? I know I could just open the print queues in windows and maximise them but they aren't really that helpful other than showing the queue itself. Thanks in advance, Ash

robk Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 We use microsofts ipp web client, very old but gives a web page for each print queue. Will try and find a link for it tomorrow.
