would you be able to share your Database layout? we just got filemaker adv 13 a few weeks ago and are still getting the hang of it, I really don't want to use a prebuilt template... thanks!

@webman thanks for replying back, my only "minimal issue" is when I click to install (lets say 3 color ink cartridges) on one printer, I'd wish for maybe a check box option where I select all 3 cartridges needed then "install" the way its setup now is you have to select cartridges individually to install them and the page refreshes its self back to the top of the list instead holding its location.. other then that right now script works flawless! thanks

Hey guys, just wanted your input on where I should start my search / resolution heres my problem. We signed up from live@edu a while back, "6 months ago" and added our domain name "my-domain.com" which was bought from godaddy. we went thru all the initial procedures such as adding the "Cname" "MxRecords" etc now Im able to send email from "[email protected] to [email protected] fine with no issues but, when i'm sending emails from another provider such as gmail to "my-domain.com" the emails get rejected and gets kicked back to my gmail :\ however every once in a while one of them will go thru... but 80% of the time it gets kickbacked to me... any thoughts now where to go for a solution?

I created myself a live edu account however I don't see any options within the outlook to import a pst. The only option I have is to import my email contacts which I did with no problem.. Where can i find the migration tool?

Anyone know a way to import a standard "none exchange" POP account over to live@edu. We are getting ready to implement this and would like to know if this is possible.. I've researched this and haven't found a solid answer.. :/

SUCCESS! I added the server IP to my DNS A record! and boom! I'm able to use name instead of IP... Thanks for your help guys!

OK, so for instance the server IP is 192.168.40.10 the folder name for the website is called "myschool.intranet.com" With that said I should be able to type "myschool.intranet.com" into a browser and have it land on the webpage folder..? right :\ but it just takes me to an outside unknown website

Start Menu - Control Panel - Administrative Tools – DNS. 2. Expand forward lookup zones by clicking on the +. 3. Right click on the zone (domain name) and click on new host (A or AAAA). 4. Type in the name of the record. If you are creating www then type in www, if you are created a sub domain such as dev.example.com or test.example.com then type in the sub domain name. 5. Type in the IP address of the domain name or the sub domain. This is usually the primary IP address of your dedicated server. 6. After typing in the IP address click on add host.

Hey everyone! I'm our school I'm setting up a local intranet site mainly for staff communications, calendars & announcements and such... I finally finished setting up an Ubuntu server running LAMP+Webmin which is working great! however I have two questions and would like your input on this. 1. What script would work best for an intranet site? I was researching Wordpress and Jommla which say it will work but it looks like it requires lots of tweaking and plugins etc.. Is there anything else worth looking at? or is this something I would have to start from scratch? 2. Now I'm able to view any webpage I setup in it however It only works when I enter the server IP address into the browser. Is there a way to setup a "virtual name" for internal purposes? I would hate for staff to remember an IP address every time they need access to the intranet. I assume theres has to be a way to create a "myschoolintranet.com or .net" into a browser and have that kick in the Ubuntu server. I've been messing around with our windows DNS server to convert the IP to name but im having any luck :/ thanks! 6

Ever since we implemented Websense into our system dropbox now wont sync. The dropbox icon in the taskbar shows dropbox with a red X on it. "Can't establish secure connection" any ideas?

Not going to use both at the same time, I want to be able to disable wireless when I don't need it and go wired and vice versa.

In windows XP it would alternate with no problem, windows 7 wont allow it for some reason, I only want to use one connection at time not both.

Hey everyone, I have a quick question and I'm wondering how you guys handle it.. On laptops with windows 7 we are trying to assign the same static IP address to wireless and wired card, however once we assign the address the wireless is fine but once I go wired the IP address on the wired connection gets removed and vice versa! I don't want to assign 2 IP address to the cards if I don't have to. any thoughts?

Anyone have experience with, NETGEAR ProSafe Smart Wireless Controller WFS709TP & Prosafe WGL102 802.11G Wireless Access Points? We seem to be having issues with signal strength and signal lose using this setup, the wireless manager shows all out AP up and running but when we are near an access point we in-counter single loss or weak signals Anyone use this current setup?
