north-ict Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Hi Just wanted to ask everyones opinions on a good website company to design a Primary school website its most likely going to be geared towards parents to keep them up to date with info etc (so not to look kiddish). So any ideas on companies you have used that are good or know about? Cheers
rush_tech Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 You could look at a CMS Joomla, Drupal etc you could have a site up and running quite quickly. Also its FREE 1

north-ict Posted May 10, 2011 Author Posted May 10, 2011 Thanks for the responses guys keep them coming! lol . I am basically running some surveys for the Teachers, parents and children to fill out to get feedback once thats done i will do a break down of a site map etc and then proceed with looking to contact a company or what not. I picked up a few contacts at the recent BETT fair including primary site and and school website just wanted to get more info from this awesome geeky community So right now I am not ready to roll with contacting anyone more of a case of being ready when i do roll.
jamesfed Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I've made all of my sites using WordPress with the theme created in something called Artisteer (Artisteer - web design software and joomla template maker) it dosn't cost to much and makes quick layout changes easy (still having some know how of web design will help you tweek). 1
