Can anyone recommend a portable projector?

The school is looking to buy a lightweight and small projector to take on trips - the current one (Toshiba TDP-S8) is apparantly too bulky. It will primarily be showing films from a laptop for children to watch when away, and the occasional presentation.

 

I did consider the pocket sized projectors but I don't think the resolution would be high enough, so probably something bigger than those, but as portable as possible would be good.

 

Any recommendations?

These are very good projectors but are being discontinued as Casio have made a bigger version with better cooling although if you can get your hands on one quickly do!

That is what I would recommend also.

 

We ordered another 3 about 4 months ago. Our supplier got back to us and said that he could not source the projectors as ordered so he upgraded us for free. We now have the same projector but with wireless connectivity.

Second these, we have four installed in our primary school and they've been fantastic so far, but as said they're discontinued for the 'fatter' models.

The A130's are still available (but not for long) you just need to hunt around a bit for them.
